God’s Presence Felt During Emergency Restores Health

We learn here through Christian signs that “perfect love casteth out fear,” every fear because our biggest enemy is fear. A couple of weeks ago, I experienced what felt like an emergency. I must admit I was very fearful about it. I went to the emergency room, but I called my Plainfield practitioner before I went there. My practitioner called me back moments later, and she reminded me who I am as a child of God and that God had put me here to do His work. She told me how God made me perfect and reminded me clearly that my heart beat for God and for God alone; nothing else can interfere with that function.

During my visit, they did all the tests that they wanted to do, and the tests came back perfect, but the doctors said they were not going to let me go because they were going to check one more time before I left. My practitioner continued to pray and talk to me. She reassured me about God’s purpose for me working in this church. I needed that reminder because, during that time, all fear was completely gone. I became very confident about myself, who I am, and what God is doing. A couple of hours later, they did a couple more tests which came back perfect again. They told me that nothing was wrong. We have no reason to keep you here or to prescribe anything to you, so you can walk out and go. I’m so grateful to God for what he’s doing in our lives, for the prayers and instruction of my practitioner, and Christian Science. Nothing can stop the truth from moving forward.
