Stopped to Pray For Others During this Christmas Season

Stefanie, NH

Recently, I have had a lot on my plate – to say the least – and I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed and unsettled. I rush around each day, trying to get all my work done, and I realized I need to start turning my attention away from what I need to do. This morning I chose to start blessing all the people that I saw, or anyone that came to my thought. I acknowledge their oneness with God, their peace, their health, their beauty, their wealth, and so on. I’m learning so much here at the Plainfield church, and I know how important it is to watch and pray for our world. I am also aware that animal magnetism is trying to take away the peace and true meaning of the Christmas season, not just to me but to many others. I am so grateful to be aware of this! This practice has been helping me all day – to slow down and be thoughtful for others, not my to-do list. Thank you for this meeting that truly blesses one and all.
