Passport Issues Resolved Quickly

Michelle, Australia

I’d like to thank all of you at the Plainfield Church for the amazing work you do and for providing us with so many amazing audio recordings and everything on the website. Well, I always look forward to Monday morning when I can listen to the church service from the day before because I’m in Australia and also the Roundtable. I really look forward to tha and Thursday morning I listen live to your Wednesday service. It’s a all a very special time of my week. I’d like to share a lovely healing my son and I had earlier this year in June. We were flying from Brisbane to Kenya where Joe was beginning a six-month internship at our engineering business in Nairobi. I had my tourist visa ready and Joe had a letter confirming his internship, but when we got to the airport, the airline said he couldn’t board because he didn’t have the official work stamp in his passport even though he had had his visa approved. I immediately emailed my practitioner who lovingly agreed to pray about the situation. I also contacted my mom in Kenya who spoke with a lawyer there. Even though it looked uncertain, I actually felt very peaceful and I knew that God never lets his children down. I told Joe that that God was already working everything out and that we just need to trust Him. Within about 15 minutes, the lawyer managed to get a tourist visa approved, something that usually takes 3 days. We had missed our flight, but when I called the airline, they kindly booked us on to the next one, which was about 5 hours later.

That flight turned out to be half empty, so we could stretch out and have a good rest during our flight. Later we learned that there had been demonstrations in Nairobi earlier on in the day, so arriving in the evening actually made it easier and safer for all of us. Everything had worked out absolutely perfectly. One of the airline staff even said to me, “You seem very calm about all this.” And I said, “Because I knew God was taking care of everything.” And of course He did. I’m so grateful to God for His loving guidance, to Christ Jesus for showing us the way, and to Mary Bakeri for giving us the understanding of how to trust God in every situation. I’m very grateful to my my Plainfield practitioner for her loving support. She was so calm in the email and I felt so peaceful knowing that she was working for for us and this situation and of course thanks to all at the Plainfield Church for your steadfast love and support.
