Healed of Hypertension High Blood Pressure

L. F., MD

Since starting to work with a Plainfield Christian Science Church, Independent, practitioner and participating in the many online learning/spiritual activities of the church, I have experienced a real transformation of my life. Fear and anxiety have washed away, and I feel a joy and dominion I never felt before. Recently, I had further evidence of a miraculous change in my life.

At work, we are undergoing a COOP exercise, Continuity of Operations emergency readiness training, to prepare us in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack. A designated group of employees must successfully complete a mock emergency scenario.

As part of the exercise, participants are required to undergo a suitability examination administered by the on site nurse. As part of the exam, I had to have my blood pressure taken. I prayed before, during, and after the exam, reciting the Lord’s Prayer and resting in His Presence. When the nurse was done, she wrote something on the paper and said, “This can’t be right, I need to redo your test” Before, I could ask why, she was redoing the test…and I continued to pray. She finished and said to me, “Your blood pressure is 125/86 that’s almost perfect – I can’t believe it”. I said, I believe it – all things are possible with God. You see, last year, when she took my blood pressure for the COOP exercise, she recommended I go straight to the emergency room because my blood pressure was so high; I remember her saying, back then, that with pressure that high I should be in a coma. Now it’s almost perfect. I am so grateful to God for this healing because I know that His love has healed this condition. I wasn’t even working on high blood pressure. I know that this healing was a natural result of Immanuel – God with us…a natural result of working daily with my Practitioner and of my growing understanding of God and the Truths I’ve been learning through the weekly Bible Lessons, Bible studies, and the weekly Roundtable discussions. As a result, I feel closer to God. I am so grateful for the Plainfield Church, my Practitioner, and for all of you.
