Serious Eye Diagnosis Reversed Through Prayer

I love this church where while learning about God we really learn about ourselves. I’d like to give gratitude to a Practitioner in this Church, because I was given a somewhat scary diagnosis by an Eye Doctor recently. I was supposed to go to a follow up eye exam. I called a Practitioner and asked for prayer. She had talked to me about studying Bicknell Young’s article called Eyes and Ears found in the book “Collected Writings.” It’s available in this Church. It teaches what we really are. We are like God and nothing less than that. The day I was scheduled for another eye exam and further tests my practitioner told me, that I was never born into matter so I’m not going to deteriorate, nor optical nerves, or anything. I see because God sees. It doesn’t require eyeballs to see or ears to hear. God, Mind sees and hears. This truth was very inspiring and uplifting to me. I felt like I was God’s instrument; that was the crux to me.

So, I went to the Eye Doctor today, and he expected to see some trouble, but he didn’t. He gave me a bunch of tests and I passed them. He said he was surprised there was no problem at all. I knew that it was God working, and that was all that was going on. I thank God, Mary Baker Eddy, and my practitioner for lifting me, protecting me, and allowing me to continue to do this work properly.
