Banking Problems Solved Through Prayer

Betty, CA

A while back, our credit union merged with another credit union. Before that, there had been another merger about 10 years prior, and the transition had been pretty smooth. We didn’t have to do anything. This time was different; the new credit union sent a letter letting us know we had to transfer our automatic payments from the old to the new credit union on our own. This was a project, but it got done in a timely manner, and as it turned out, doing this was a real blessing.

Anyway, the day came when the transfer to the new credit union was made. We still had some items that needed to be taken care of, so we went several days after the official transfer date to take care of these. As we were driving to the credit union, I realized I didn’t exactly have the best attitude. So I started working on this. I worked on letting go of any resentment and fear, and to know that God was on both sides of the table, and only love could be expressed, and there was only one Mind. We arrived with our list of tasks to be completed. There was a small line. I noticed meeting rooms were being used. As one was being emptied, I asked if we could meet in one, as we had a few things to fix. They said, “Sure,” and took us to a room right away. The employee who worked with us was very knowledgeable and friendly, and went through the list step by step until everything was done to everyone’s satisfaction. It took about 45 minutes. The bank employee even thanked us for having a list. When we left, there was a long line. We have had only good experiences with this credit union since then. I am very grateful for this working out.
