Love Cares for Our Needs
Cristina, Mexico
I am very grateful for God’s protection. Some time ago, a glazier told me that the windows in my apartment needed adjusting, but unfortunately the spare parts for this type of window were no longer available. He told me that the only solution was to replace the windows completely. This would be very expensive because the windows of my home are very large. It was a cost that I had not considered. So, I decided to wait and leave things on standby. I just prayed that my home is in divine Mind and that “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need,” as Mary Baker Eddy says in her book Science and Health. Last Monday, I called a carpenter to fix a piece of furniture in my home and while chatting with him, I mentioned the issue about my windows. He also pointed out that those replacement parts were no longer available, but that he had some stored in his workshop. That was a great news! He offered to fix the windows himself. So, the blessing came to my home in an unexpected way. In addition, when making the repair, the carpenter told me that one of the window panes was already at risk of falling out. A strong wind could cause it to fall. This was not a minor issue, since I live on the sixth floor and the falling glass could have hurt someone. I am very grateful for this demonstration of how divine Love cares for our needs, and for the fact that Christ’s protection is always present in moments when we are at risk and unaware of it. Thanks God the solution to my windows came in the form of an angel dressed as a carpenter. I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for Plainfield church, for the Bible lessons, the Roundtables, the Unity Watches, the website, and the continuous support of my dear practitioner. What a blessing to be a member of this church! Thanks to God, Christ Jesus, and Mary Baker Eddy.
