Child Healed of Pain and Swelling Behind Ear

Recently, my son woke up in the middle of the night, and he was crying. I went to his room and checked on him. He pointed to the back of his ear and told me that it was hurting him. I looked at it and saw that it was swollen. He couldn’t go back to sleep because he was in great pain. It was very late at night. I comforted him, and I told him that I would pray for him. He was very receptive to the truth and climbed back into bed. I talked to him about how much God loved him and that God never left his or anyone’s side. I told him that God would keep him in His loving arms and give him perfect peace. He said okay, and he never cried again. When he woke up in the morning, the pain and swelling were completely gone. He was happy again and as active as ever. I was so thankful to God for the healing and for His care for all His creation. Our Father-Mother God is with all children everywhere. Two days ago, there was a song that I love. It is called “His Eye is on the Sparrow.” The sparrows were in the bushes next to my car, as if they were also listening to the music. I am grateful for God’s tender relationship to His spiritual creation. What a wonderful daily blessing it is to learn to live Christian Science and truly feel a tender relationship with God.
