Dog Healed of Internal Injuries Through Prayer

Andrea from Hungary

Two years ago I accidentally ran over my dear dog with my car. The dog seemed to be in trouble. I remembered immediately that I must focus on God, not on the injuries, which appeared to be internal. During the next couple of days, it was summer; my dog hid in the shadow under a bush in the garden and came home only in the evenings. I do not know how he managed to crawl back home and up twelve stairs, but he miraculously did. Every evening, I felt this was a sign from heaven that God was in control. I made sure that my dog had fresh water around constantly, and I sorted out what neglect of thought had led to the accident. However, every time I felt seduced to “check on the dog’s physical condition,” I immediately reminded myself not to look at the physical condition like Lot’s wife but to affirm that God rules. Only this: God rules. I felt deeply humbled and felt that these were holy days for us, the dog and me, communion with God. After around ten days, my dog was completely healed, and he still is doing well. I am so grateful to God, our all-loving Father-Mother, for His ever-presence and to the teachings and brotherly congregation in our Plainfield Christian Science Church, Independent.
