Healed Flu Symptoms Healed

Last week – on the day of the members meeting – which is 8 pm in America but 10 am in Australia I woke with intense flu like symptoms – the whole range of mortal mind aches and pains that accompany the so-called flu, along with having lost my voice. I didn’t feel that great so I stayed quiet for a while and listened intently to a favorite church recording which had me feeling somewhat eased very quickly. I then messaged my dear practitioner and told her that I would be able to call into the members meeting, and I asked her for prayerful support. I felt much improved within a few minutes of messaging her, so started to make my way getting ready for the day. I had a cup of tea, but not much up for breakfast and pressed play again listening to the church recording. The morning progressed and about 5 minutes before calling into the members meeting, my voice came back! The coughing stopped! And I started to feel a little bit hungry for breakfast which was a very good sign that the healing prayer of my practitioner was having it’s effect. So by the time I called into the members meeting I was absolutely bursting to say hello and send our love to our dear precious church family! And truly it was a joy to hear their beloved voices and their cheer and to remember sitting with them in the church for a members meeting back in 2024 as we sang a hymn together. The wonderful thing about this quick healing of my voice was that I was also able to sing very quietly the hymn with them and this caused me to feel so close to them, like when we pray together during meetings on the internet. This church has come to mean the world to me. Truly Christian Science is the biggest blessing of my life ! It brings me so close to our God who is my shelter when the world’s hatred seems to real, my best and loving friend when my joy seems to have been lost, my teacher if I ever forget that my God is ever with me – the great and only Healer of all things, the only true Healer there is. That is what Mary Baker Eddy gave to the world – she parted the veil in a way we can understand, so that we can be right now in the calm of Shekinah where the weapons of the world fall as silly trinkets under the thrumming Love of the Almighty. We are so blessed to be learning Christian Science here and this precious independent Church – the Church of the living God that stands forever on the Rock of Christ. I am so grateful to God for this blessing of pure Christian Science. Thank you God, thank you Christ Jesus thank you Mary Baker Eddy and thank you to my dear practitioner for her healing prayers that ever bless with healing power and Love of God. I am so grateful!
