Lump in Throat Healed

I woke up recently with a lump in my throat, which made it painful to move my neck. I prayed for myself, and called a practitioner from the Plainfield Church for help. He said he would be happy to pray for me. And then he told me some things that I really needed to hear. I was told that there is no place in the universe where God is not present; that God is perfect; therefore, His image and likeness is perfect (and that means me!). He also said that we don’t have to “fix” matter, but, rather, we need to spiritualize our thought, and know that matter can make no conditions for me, or for anyone. I worked with these thoughts, and strove to listen more closely to God. And it was beautiful. With that help, the lump and the pain left quickly that day, and never returned. I’m grateful for this healing, and for the help of the practitioner. I am so grateful for Christian Science, and for the fact that it is lived and practiced in the Plainfield Church.
