Measles Healed Through Prayer

My family and I were out of town, when my son came down with a very high fever. I immediately called a practitioner from Plainfield Church for help. I was told, “Mind regulates the condition of the stomach, bowels, and food, the temperature of children and of men, and matter does not.” (Science and Health) I hung up the phone and went to the child and found that the fever was gone, and he had fallen peacefully asleep.

The next morning when he awoke, I noticed a rash on his body and realized he had the measles. I called the practitioner again. She told me there is no spot where God is not. We were about to leave for home, and the practitioner said she would continue to pray and to call her when we got home. By the time we got home, just two hours later, the child was completely healed. There was not a mark on him.

I thank God for this healing, for Christian Science, and for the practitioner’s help.
