Sore Knee Healed

I would like to express my deepest thanks to this precious independent Christian Science church and our Holy practitioners. I had a very sore knee for a number of months, sometimes not so bad sometimes very strong pain. On this one particular day a few weeks ago, I had had a very Holy day focussing on God, listening to wonderful recordings from our church website and doing some church work and I casually stretched out my legs and I heard a very loud pop and a very sharp pain behind my knee. As soon as that happened thought came crystal clear: “there you are that’s been aligned again.”

That knee has not bothered me since. So whatever was causing that pain, I heard and felt an adjustment and I had been listening to some Holy readings produced by this precious Independent Church at the time. There was a great discussion a couple of years back at a Roundtable – that we never really know how precisely that God heals, but we know that it is God. And I love to think that we never really know how exactly that God made the earth, the universe and every being and thing that is in existence – but we know that He did. And that power that created everything that exists is the same power that heals in Christian Science.

I am very grateful for what this Church does for all of us – we are all learning how to practice Christian Science, how to be strong in the Christ. And of course – all of the prayerful work that I’ve been shown how to do at this Church has always yielded results far better than what I would ever have hoped. It is an remarkable blessing to be listening to the Holy readings at this Church – each are Christian Science treatments in their own right. There is no doubt that God is working in this church. And when we came from Australia to America to visit the congregation at Plainfield we saw the faithful, loving, dedication that these people give each and every week – it is quite amazing and quite a stunningly wonderful example of what we can all do. I’m very grateful to this church and I’m very grateful that God has given me a way to be part of this church. It means so much to me and to my husband also here in Australia. Thank you God, thank you Christ Jesus, thank you Mary Baker Eddy!
