Symptoms of a Tick Bite Healed

When I first discovered the Plainfield Christian Science, Independent church website, I started to join their services, classes, and watches, and as a result, I began to see healing unlike anything I experienced before, despite being class-taught in Christian Science and in Christian Science most of my life.

At this time, I had a dog. One time after we had a walk through a park. I began to experience the symptoms of Lyme disease. Over the years, three individuals in my family had been treated medically for this condition. The wooded area where I lived reported a high concentration of ticks.

I called my Plainfield practitioner for prayer. She gave me a truth, a promise, found in Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, page 514: “All God’s creatures moving in the harmony of Science, are harmless, useful, and indestructible.”

Through her prayers, I felt a peace that took the place of fear. Within a couple of days, all symptoms disappeared with no side effects, and that was many years ago. This was the beginning of gaining more dominion over many fears and a greater love for God and all his creation.
