Life Worth Living

I am very grateful to this church and my practitioner for all I have learned here about Christian Science. I was thinking today of all of the healings I have experienced here, and the progress I have made in my time here. When I first arrived here in 2013, it was immediately after the lowest point in my life. Rather quickly I went from being a suicidal wreck that no one wanted around to finding my place and purpose in working for God at this church, and acceptance from my fellow church members. I went from useless to useful, and from lost to found, and saved. How wonderful to find that Christian Science is a practical way of life, one that truly has made my life worth living. My previous beliefs of my own limitations have been completely changed by what God has enabled me to do. And not just in what one might think is a ‘Christian Science’ specific way, but in all ways. Yes, I am able to be loving and compassionate to more than just my immediate family now, but also my technical abilities are far greater than I ever was capable of before. Additionally, I have had so many healings. Christian Science and practitioner support have helped me to be the man I am today. I have such joy to be a member of this church, and such gratitude for all that Christian Science has blessed me with. There really is nothing the world has to offer that could have even come close to what this church has to offer, which in essence is the ability to be what God made us to be. I am so grateful to be here.
