Obstacles During Move Across Country Met Through Prayer

Tony, GA

Recently, I witnessed God’s total, loving control over my mother and me. I had to move her from a nursing home in California to a care facility in Georgia, and I had less than 30 days to do this after her husband had passed away. I called a practitioner from this church who calmly reminded me that I needed to see God’s presence and power in everything I did and everywhere I went, and that God would direct my path. I worked with her nearly every day. I’m just very grateful for that support. I’m just very grateful to testify that God’s presence and power did deliver me daily from feeling like just very intense pressure and stress, anxiety, and just overcame every roadblock which were there; there were a lot of them. I had no idea how to accomplish all the tasks under these circumstances, but I knew that God was the creator and governor of all things and that God had only good in store for me and my mother. That was the law that I clung to really hourly.

I listened to the Bible lesson on YouTube every morning. When I was in the facility in California, I opened my heart to love every resident and all the staff that I interacted with. As I felt my sense of love expanding and encompassing everyone, I really found myself feeling much more of God’s peace. I ended up staying in California for about three and a half weeks, working on all the daily challenges while my wife was back in Georgia helping out from there. We were able to locate a very loving facility just 15 minutes from my home here in Georgia. We were able to secure a spot for her. We had to work with Social Security and Medicare during the government shutdown. I had to overcome many banking obstacles and secure a personal attendant to fly back with us to Georgia. I even made it through the TSA checkpoint with my mother, despite all her expired IDs. So, one thing after another, God follows through. My mother has now been in her new home for about a week. I cannot stop thanking God for all he has done for me and my family.

There’s just nothing that God cannot do. I hope this testimony serves as further proof that all things are possible to God. My deepest thanks to the practitioner, the readers of the Bible Lesson on YouTube, and the instruction provided on the weekly Roundtable. This really gave me the daily truth I needed to resist feeling overwhelmed and helped me be much more loving and helpful to all I came into contact with.
