Way Made Clear Around Flooding

A couple of us had an appointment several weeks ago, and it was the day of a torrential rainstorm. We got up and contemplated going for the appointment. It was an important one, and we needed to be there. I prayed and said, “Father, what do you want us to do? How shall we deal with this?” The thought came very strongly to wait 15 minutes. So, we waited 15 minutes, and then we started on our journey. The first thing we met was a flooded highway. But there was an overpass to go over, so we crossed over the highway. I had called the place before we left, and they said there was a lot of flooding and that people weren’t able to get through the traffic circle. When we got to the traffic circle, there was no water on it, so we continued on our trip. We got to the place at the right time, did our business, and left. I was so grateful to God. He just gave us the right direction and the right timing and cleared the way. Just waiting those 15 minutes made a difference. Before we left, we worked with the line, “Christ goes before me, the way is prepared, and I am protected.” It’s certain that’s the way it worked out. I am so very grateful for God’s guidance, for His protection, and that we were able to hear his voice.
