Prison Outreach

Chardelle, NJ

I offer my gratitude to my practitioner and this church. I am learning to be a warrior for Christ and to share the Word of God everywhere. I have spoken before about a young man I correspond with who is in prison. I heard from him recently and one thing he told me about is a year-long course that he just completed. I quote from his letter : “The program is called Prison Fellowship. It’s brought my relationship with God very close along with my brothers in Christ here.” He also sent me a picture of himself in a graduation gown holding a certificate.

How grateful I am to grow spiritually and have people come into my life who are hungry for God’s love. This angry young man has been healed and he is made new. He knows that I pray for him each day and he loves the calendar statements that I send to him. Sometimes I also send prayers. He has a prison job that earns him what is called “ free time” by cleaning offices in the prison. Thank you God for using me in such a meaningful way!
